  22.           The _c_a_t_c_l_o_c_k program displays the time in analog, digital,
  23.           or cat form.  The time is continuously updated at a
  24.           frequency which may be specified by the user.

  27.           _C_a_t_c_l_o_c_k accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line
  28.           options along with the additional options listed below:

  31.                   Determines display mode. Modes are _a_n_a_l_o_g, _d_i_g_i_t_a_l,
  32.                   and _c_a_t.  Analog mode displays a conventional 12
  33.                   hour clock face with ``ticks'' for each minute and
  34.                   stroke marks on each hour. Digital mode displays an
  35.                   ascii string corresponding to the time. Cat mode
  36.                   displays an image of the famous "Kit Cat (R)"
  37.                   plastic clock, complete with pendulum tail. The
  38.                   default is _c_a_t.

  220.           ALARM FUNCTION below).  The ``Exit'' menu item causes

  228.           ``Reread Alarm File''.

  230.           To make changes to the alarm file, select menu item ``Edit
  231.           Alarm File''.  The editor specified by the EDITOR
  232.           environment variable will be run on the alarm file.  The
  233.           default editor is vi.  Emacs users who use GNU Emacs will
  234.           have that editor appear in its own window, while "other"
  235.           emacs versions will appear in an xterm window.

  239.           After an alarm has been rung, select either the
  240.           ``Acknowledge Alarm'' or the ``Reread Alarm File'' menu
  241.           items.  This will terminate the current alarm and cause the
  242.           next alarm in sequence to be activated.

  244.           Each line in the file is an alarm composed of up to 4
  245.           fields.  The first fields must be space separated, and the
  246.           last field (the message field) must be separated from the
  247.           previous fields with tabs.  The first field is optional and
  248.           gives the day of the week for the alarm to happen (no day of
  249.           week means a daily alarm).

  251.           The next field is the time field and must contain a colon
  252.           separating the hour from the minute.  The third (optional)
  253.           field may contain AM or PM (any case) specifying normal
  254.           time.  If no AM/PM indication is given, 24-hour time is
